A company built on one filter.
I started Santiva because I kept watching AI get pitched as a way to replace people — and I did not want to build that. I wanted to build the opposite. Every decision about what our clusters do, and what they will not do, runs through one filter: does this make humans more capable without making them less essential?
That sentence is not marketing. It is how I make the call on every feature, every deployment, and every line in our Code of Ethics. When a capability fails that filter, we do not ship it — even if it would be lucrative. Especially if it would be lucrative.
Where this comes from.
I served in the U.S. Air Force. The Air Force shaped how I think about leadership, accountability, and what "service before self" actually means in practice. It is the source of the standards I hold Santiva to — integrity first, excellence in everything, and a refusal to ship work that is "good enough" when I know it is not.
Outside the military, I have worked in managerial, customer-facing, and IT roles — a combination of skills that I think makes me well-suited to design something like this. I currently work in a customer-facing role at a major financial services company, where I have been recognized as a top performer. The work has kept me close to the day-to-day reality of what frontline operations actually require: how customers want to be treated, how teams want to be supported, and where the gaps are.
The cluster I am building at Santiva is shaped by all of that. It is not theoretical. It is the system I wish had existed for every customer-facing team I have ever been part of.
Where "Santiva" comes from.
"Santiva" combines Sanibel and Captiva — two barrier islands off the southwest coast of Florida. My family vacationed there during my childhood. They are the places I associate with freedom, with stillness, and with the feeling of being completely at ease.
That is the feeling I want Santiva's AI clusters to give back to the humans who use them: room to think, room to focus on the work that only people can do, and freedom from the operational weight that grinds small businesses down. The name is a constant reminder of what we are actually building for.
A long-term operating company.
Santiva is a bootstrapped, veteran-owned Florida company. We design and operate AI agent clusters that act as the operational backbone for service-industry businesses — beginning with roofing in Florida and expanding into other home-repair and service verticals over time.
We are deliberately small. The decisions get made by one person and they get made carefully. We are not chasing scale for its own sake; we are building something we plan to operate for the long term. If you want to know more about how we think about that — pricing, ethics, what we will and will not do — the Principles page and the full Code of Ethics have the details.
